Ағылшын тілі - XXI ғасырдың тілі. Бұл тіл қазақты дүниеге танытатын, әлемдік деңгейге шығаратын тіл. Еліміздің шет елдермен қарым-қатынасымыз күшейіп отырған қазіргі заманда оқушылардың шет тіліне қызығуын, білімге құштарлығын ояту, танымдық белсенділігін арттыру басты міндет. Демек, оқушыларымыздың ағылшын тілін білуі - уақыт талабы. Шетел тілі қазіргі кезде заман талабына сай көптеген мектептерде 1 сыныптан бастап жүргізілуде. Бұл оқушы бойында ерте кезеңнен бастап ұлтаралық, мәдениетаралық бірлестікке дайындықтың қалыптасуына тікелей ықпал етеді. Шетел тілін бастауыш мектептен бастап оқытудың артықшылығы әрбір балаға психологиялық ойлауына, шет тілі сөзіне көңіл аударуына, түсінуіне оң әсер ететіндігі, содан соң негізгі мектепте білімін берік нығайтуын, білім сапасын арттыруға мүмкіндік беретіндігінде.

Оқушының жеке тұлға болып қалыптасуына және оның тұтастай дамуына ықпал ету, сөйлеу қызметінің негізгі түрлеріндегі қарапайым шеттілдік коммуникативтік құзыреттің қалыптасуы, төменгі сынып оқушыларының эмоционалдық, шығармашылық, әлеуметтік, когнитивтік және тілдік қабілеттерін дамуы, ағылшын тілінде қарым-қатынас жасай алу негіздерін меңгеруі

3-сыныпта «Шетел тілі» (ағылшын тілі) оқу пәнінің міндеттері:

. шет тілінде сөйлейтін/жазатын адамдармен өзара түсіністік орнатуға мүмкіндік беретін қарым-қатынас құралы ретіндегі шет тілі туралы түсінік қалыптастыру, дыбысталатын және жазбаша мәтіндер арқылы жаңаны танып білу;
төменгі сынып оқушыларының лингвистикалық ой-өрістерін кеңейту; төменгі сынып оқушыларына қолжетімді және қарапайым деңгейде шет тілінде ауызша және жазбаша сөйлеуді игеруге қажетті қарапайым лингвистикалық түсініктерді меңгеру;
болашақта психологиялық кедергіні жеңу үшін жаңа тілдік әлемге төменгі сынып оқушыларының коммуникативтік-психологиялық бейімделуін және шет тілін қарым-қатынас құралы ретінде пайдалануды қамтамасыз ету;

Сөйлесімнің фонетикалық, лексикалық сипаты .

Лексикалық қордағы тұрақты сөз тіркестері, түрлі репликалар, қарым-қатынасты қамтамасыз етудің тілдік этикеттің элементері болып есептеледі. Лексикалық минимумның орфографиясы.

Күтілетін нәтиже:

Төменгі сынып оқушыларының лингвистикалық ой-өрістерін кеңейуі; төменгі сынып оқушыларына қолжетімді және қарапайым деңгейде шет тілінде ауызша және жазбаша сөйлеуді игеруге қажетті қарапайым лингвистикалық түсініктерді меңгеруі;
